There are two things fans in the Tampa Bay area are worried about regarding their Buccaneers. One, well, what will happen with Baker Mayfield and their quarterback situation? They took a gamble on the journeyman, and he showed up big time. Will they pay him, or will they let him walk?

The other is Mike Evans, the best receiver to wear any version of a Buccaneers uniform. You don't have ten straight 1,000-yard seasons on accident. He is still the real deal and a guy many other teams will want to follow. So, they must come right when it's time to offer a deal.

Of course, there are other things the team has to worry about, like defensive back Antione Winfield Jr., but the two I mentioned prior are more important. We have already heard that the two sides in the Buccaneers and Evans are not very close to a deal yet. However, there is now a bit more news on the situation.

According to Jeremy Fowler, ESPN's NFL insider, the Buccaneers want to bring back Evans "in a major way." While we can figure out what that means on our own, it's pretty clear they don't want him in another uniform, which could mean they will do whatever they have to do to keep him in the Bay Area.

To make things better, we know that Evans wants to retire a Buccaneer. And, when both sides want the same thing at such a passionate level, I'm willing to bet something gets done. Now, it's just about making sure it works for both sides. The Bucs want to keep Evans around, but they want to ensure they won't put themselves in a bad position later.
