The matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend got a little spice thanks to seven-time Pro-Bowler Cameron Jordan.

Jordan, who has played with the Saints since entering the league in 2011, made some comments on the "Truss Levelz" podcast this week that might get Buccaneers fans a little pissed off.

The podcast, which is hosted by Jordan and New Orleans running back Mark Ingram, had Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David on this week. As you can imagine, there was plenty of back and forth about the Bucs and the Saints.

Jordan took aim at the Tampa Bay fan base by essentially accusing all Bucs fans of being bandwagon fans.

"Y'all won a Super Bowl and all of a sudden, Tamp Bay Bucs fans [are saying] 'my daddy was a Bucs fan'," said Jordan. "You're a liar, sir."

Jordan then laughingly suggested that all fans jumped on the Bucs bandwagon when the team signed Tom Brady in 2020.

Obviously, we know this isn't true. The Bucs have an incredibly passionate fan base that's been riding with the team for a long time. And it's not like the Buccaneers are a long-suffering franchise, either. They have more Super Bowl wins this century than all but five teams (they're tied with two with the Ravens, Steelers, Rams, and Giants and they have fewer than the Patriots).

This is nothing more than Jordan throwing some shade at one of the Saints' major rivals. He's wrong, of course. But that's what rivalries are all about.
