Fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can sigh a little sigh of relief on Friday afternoon.

Per Todd Bowles on Friday at practice, the Bucs will have the services of cornerback Jamel Dean and safety Antoine Winfield, Jr. on Sunday night in Tampa Bay's Wild Card matchup with the Washington Commanders.

Winfield, Jr. has been on the shelf for the Buccaneers since a Week 14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.  He suffered a knee injury in the Bucs' 28-13 win that's kept him on the sideline, but wasn't severe enough to put land him on injured reserve.

Dean has been battling issues in both his knees, which caused him to leave the Bucs' 48-14 Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers.  After missing last week's division-clinching victory over New Orleans, Dean will return to man his outside starting corner spot opposite Zyon McCollum.

Both Winfield, Jr. and Dean managed to practice in varying fashion all week – Winfield, Jr. full and Dean limited.

Likewise, the chances appear positive that Tampa Bay could be with its top tight end Cade Otton on Sunday night against Washington.  Otton suffered a knee injury in Tampa Bay's 40-1 win over the Chargers on December 15 and has been out since.

The Bucs will need all hands on deck, particularly on defense, as they prepare to take on leading NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate Jayden Daniels and the high-powered Washington attack on Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.
