That's kind of a strange thing to say about a team that had 15 players on their practice report on Tuesday ahead of their Thursday night divisional clash with the Atlanta Falcons.
However, from the start of the season until this week, the Bucs had managed to see all of their injured stars avoid a trip to the injured reserve list, on which a player misses at least four games. Antoine Winfield, Jr., Vita Vea, and Calijah Kancey have all managed to avoid that, with Vea returning against the Eagles last week.
However, SirVocea Dennis isn't so fortunate. The Buccaneers announced on Tuesday that they are placing Dennis on injured reserve.
That's not a massively surprising development, given Todd Bowles' comments on Monday during his weekly press conference. Bowles revealed about Dennis' shoulder that he "hurt it pretty bad" against the Eagles on Sunday.
In a corresponding move, the team signed LB Antonio Grier from its practice squad to the 53-man roster. LB Kalen DeLoach was signed to the practice squad as well.
Grier is a player the Bucs liked and obviously know well. He signed with the team after the draft in May as an undrafted rookie free agent. He turned a few heads in the preseason with solid play, but ultimately missed out on making the 53-man roster. The team liked what they saw enough to offer him a spot on their practiced squad, and that turned out to be a wise move.
Dennis will be eligible to return to action for the Buccaneers' game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, November 4.

Per Pro Football Focus, McCollum has allowed just six receptions for 57-yards and a touchdown on […]
