Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers Week 6: Will you be able to watch on TV?
Two division leaders will do battle on Sunday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have navigated a challenging start to the 2025 season with a 4-1 mark that sees them atop the NFC South and tied for the top spot in the NFC. They will test their mettle again on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium against the current top team in the NFC West – the San Francisco 49ers.
Per 506 Sports, the game will be widely broadcast as its primary late game on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo calling the action.

The game will be seen from coast to coast, with the exception of the Cincinnati vs. Green Bay market, which will cover most of the Midwest and the North, while also stretching into Tennessee and west into North and South Dakota and into parts of Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana.
Bucs hope to get some help back on defense after a leaky performance in win over Seahawks
Tampa Bay won a thriller on Sunday over Seattle 38-35, but the defense struggled against the Seahawks’ passing attack. Sam Darnold completed 24 of 31 attempts for 341 yards with 4 touchdowns and an interception. Three Seattle pass catchers had 6 or more receptions, highlighted by Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s stat line of 8 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown.
Tampa Bay was without the services of defensive backs Jamel Dean, Benjamin Morrison, and Christian Izien. If the Bucs can get one or more back, particularly their starter in Dean, that would go a long way to combating a San Francisco passing attack that has remained productive even with TE George Kittle and WRs Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall missing time due to injury. In-season signee Kendrick Bourne had 10 catches for 142 yards in last week’s 26-23 overtime win against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Bucs and 49ers get underway at 4:25 pm ET on Sunday in Tampa.
