You better believe that Tom Brady's decision to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is going to have some major effects on what happens with the roster from this point on.
One of the first dominoes to fall will be Rob Gronkowski and his decision on whether or not he wants to return to the Buccaneers.
Gronkowski hasn't committed to anything since Brady announced his retirement back in February. Since then, he's been "linked" to teams such as the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, and Cincinnati Bengals.
But obviously, the new favorite to land Gronk -if he decides to play, of course- is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Who else would it be?
Gronkowski has yet to play with any other quarterback over the course of his career. Sure, there were four games where Jacoby Brissett filled in for Brady during the Deflategate suspension, but that's it. Let's not pretend like that's some sample size that can hold up in a debate.
With Brady back in the fold, it's almost certain the Buccaneers will bring back Gronkowski. The only issue that stands in the way is the Bucs' current cap situation. Not only is money limited, but they have other important free agents such as Ryan Jensen, Carlton Davis III, Alex Cappa, Leonard Fournette, Jordan Whitehead, and others to re-sign, as well.
But with Brady, anything is possible.
