The Tennessee Titans have been conducting interviews and holding visits with some of the top players in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, the team recently met with Oregon QB Bo Nix which has left plenty of fans scratching their heads.

Nix was a Heisman finalist in 2023 with the Ducks, but has been one of the game's most popular players since his Auburn days (2019-2021). While he's one of the more athletic quarterback prospects in the draft class, however his age (24) is a bit of a concern.

At six-foot-two and 214 pounds, Nix started 61 games in college. To pair with a strong arm and great mobility, Nix is also a sound processor. He passed for 4,508 yards in 2023 with 45 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Nix also rushed for 38 scores in his collegiate career.

With all of that being said, Nix does not make sense for the Titans. Even if he's available when the Titans are on the clock with the team's No. 38 overall selection, Tennessee should look the other way.

The Titans have much more pressing needs at offensive tackle, wide receiver, inside linebacker, and defensive line. Without a third-round pick at Tennessee's disposal it will become incredibly difficult to fill one of those holes later in the draft.

The Titans have drafted a quarterback in each of the last two drafts in Malik Willis and Will Levis. Willis is far from a lock to make the roster as Titans training camp will begin with Levis as the starter and Mason Rudolph as his backup.

Even though the Titans should hold off on Nix, it wouldn't come as much of a surprise if the team drafted a passer in the late rounds to come in and compete with Willis for the role as third-string quarterback.
