NASHVILLE – Top quarterback prospect and presumed number one overall pick Cam Ward is officially teammates with wide receiver Luther Burden III, but not in the way Tennessee Titans fans are hoping for…yet.

With the 2025 NFL Draft around the corner, there's still a real possibility that Ward and Burden end up as teammates in two-tone blue. If Burden falls to 35th overall, the Titans will have an opportunity to give their shiny new quarterback a young weapon to grow with.

But for now, Ward and Burden will have to settle for being teammates on Team Under Armour. With Ward's new sponsorship deal that was announced this weekend, Under Armour's revived relationship with the NFL is off to an impressive start.

“Joining Under Armour is more than just a sponsorship deal. It’s a partnership. I’m grateful to become part of the UA team,” said Ward in a statement. “I grew up watching my favorite players wear Under Armour, rocking cleats and gloves that elevate their game. To be part of the brand’s new era feels very full circle and I hope I can inspire the next generation of kids watching.”

As I previously mentioned, Burden is another one of the athlete's from the 2025 NFL draft class that recently inked a deal with Under Armour. So did Texas WR Matthew Golden, Alabama OL Tyler Booker, and South Carolina S Nick Emmanwori.

All of these players have a legitimate chance to go in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. That would be great for Under Armour, but for the Titans' sake, Burden making his way to 35 overall would be ideal. We'll be seeing a lot of Under Armour swag around Nissan Stadium in 2025.
