The Cleveland Browns are expected to have some interest this offseason in Tennessee Titans right tackle Jack Conklin, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.

Conklin will be a free agent in March, thanks to the Titans' decision to not pick up his fifth year option.

At the time, it was understandable why the Titans didn't pick up Conklin's option before the 2019 season.

Conklin tore his ACL in the Titans' playoff loss to the New England Patriots in early 2018. The following season, Conklin missed seven games due to various injuries.

In 2019, however, Conklin played all 16 games and performed well. He's now expected to be one of the top right tackles in free agency.

It seems unlikely that Tennessee will attempt to bring Conklin back. Re-signing offensive tackle Dennis Kelly, who has been an important reserve player for the Titans over the last several years, to start at right tackle might be the path Tennessee takes instead.

Bringing Kelly back would certainly be cheaper and could aid in the Titans' quest to re-sign running back Derrick Henry.
