The Tennessee Titans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to show the NFL that one of the worst units in football will be a team strength in 2024.

It's no secret that the Titans' offensive line was an unmitigated disaster last season. Quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and Will Levis both missed time due to injury behind an offensive line that finished the year having allowed 64 sacks (T-3rd in NFL).

Tennessee gave up 29 sacks at the left tackle position alone! That's just five sacks shy of the season sack numbers from the Rams and 49ers (34)!

With that being said, ESPN's Mike Clay does expect Tennessee to take a massive leap up front in the fall. The Titans added first-round offensive tackle JC Latham in the draft and highly sought after free-agent center Lloyd Cushenberry to give the group a facelift this offseason.

There is a healthy competition at the right guard spot while things are a little murky at right tackle at the moment. But under Callahan's tutelage, Clay believes the Titans' offensive line has what it takes to be a top-10 unit in 2024.

Mike Clay’s 2024 NFL Projection Guide

The Titans check in at No. 9 in Clay's 2024 NFL Projection Guide. Most Titans fans would agree that a top-15 finish would suffice, but if Clay's projections come true the team should have enough to contend in the AFC South and vie for a playoff spot.

Comfortability is key for Levis who is entering his first season as a full-time starting quarterback in the NFL. The Titans offensive line still has plenty of room to grow, but if this group can raise eyebrows like Clay projects they can then Tennessee should have an answer on Levis sooner rather than later.
