Tennessee Titans head coach told reporters on Monday morning that if starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill isn't ready to go for Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, then they will roll with Will Levis at QB1.

"We'll see where Ryan is," Vrabel said. "We haven't done anything with him here yet today, so we'll see how he is. But we'd probably say that if Ryan can't go, we'll move forward with Will."

Tannehill is still nursing a high-ankle sprain he sustained in Week 6's loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London.

The Titans went with Levis as their primary quarterback on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

It was a solid NFL debut for the 2023 second-round pick, who completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 238 yards and four touchdowns, as he led the Titans to a 28-23 victory.

The Titans rookie QB earned Vrabel's nod of approval for his first regular-season performance.

"Not a bad debut. He got some great efforts from the receivers; Hop really got us up and going,” Vrabel said post-game. “Not only did Will get some good help, I thought the opportunities to move the ball were there, and he hit them.”

With his four-touchdown day, Levis joined Minnesota Vikings Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton and former Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota as only the third player in league history to throw four passing touchdowns in his first NFL career game.

The Steelers are also dealing with an injury to their starting quarterback, Kenny Pickett, who suffered a rib injury in his team's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars

Pickett will be a game-time decision on Thursday night, according to Pittsburgh's head coach Mike Tomlin.
