NASHVILLE — After trading out of the No. 35 overall choice on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft with the Seattle Seahawks, the Tennessee Titans selected UCLA edge defender Oluwafemi Oladejo with the No. 52 draft pick. Tennessee desperately needed reinforcements on their defensive front after moving on from veteran Harold Landry earlier this year.

The Titans also picked up a third-round choice (No. 82) in the deal with Seattle.

Oluwafemi Oladejo and Cam Ward faced each other as college players

Before UCLA's move to the Big 10 Conference and Ward's transfer from Washington State to Miami, the now-teammates were opponents in the Pac 12.

"Yeah, he's a competitor," Oladejo said of Ward. "I'm excited to call him my teammate. He's a great guy. I remember I picked him off my junior year, but it was all love, man. He's a great guy and I'm excited to call him my teammate."

Oladejo was a two-year starter for the Bruins after transferring from Cal.

A project edge player that converted from an off-ball linebacker, Oladejo acknowledged that he has plenty of technical growth ahead. He did lead UCLA in both tackles for loss (13.5) and sacks (4.5) last season. Oladejo joins a room that is still light on talent with Dre'Mont Jones, Arden Key, Jaylen Harrell and Lorenzo Carter.

Oluwafemi Oladejo, UCLA

Age
(Birthday): 21 (09/20/2003)

A to Z Sports Expected Draft Position: No. 104

Pre-Draft Round Projection: Round 4

Oluwafemi Oladejo has worked his way into many analysts' favorite "draft darling" conversations this spring thanks to his stellar performance at the Senior Bowl and strong showing at the NFL Combine. The scouts who like Femi Oladejo most love his versatility and extensive experience playing both off-ball linebacker and edge rusher. He grew into a fairly impressive off-ball linebacker after transferring from California to UCLA, but the Bruins had a need at edge in 2024 so they moved him primarily to an edge defender role in his final season. He wasn't perfect there, but flashed some of the bend and burst off the edge that entices the NFL. He'll likely start out as a backup early on until he adds more layers to his pass rush game, but Oladejo could certainly be a starter one day. Credit: Travis May.

Career Projection: Good backup with starter potential.
