The Tennessee Titans selected Mississippi State defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons with the No. 19 selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, ending months of speculation (and mock drafts).
Simmons was widely regarded as a top five talent in the draft, but he fell because of concerns over a video of him punching a woman in high school and a torn ACL.
National NFL analyst Bucky Brooks believes the Titans got a steal by selecting Simmons with the 19th pick.
CBS analyst Pete Prisco said Simmons has a chance to be the most dominant player in the NFL.
Other national analysts also heaped praise on the pick.
Simmons, who compiled 18 sacks as a junior in 2018, will pair quite nicely with Jurrell Casey on the Titans' defensive line.
Add Cam Wake and Harold Landry to the equation and the Titans will have one of the nastiest defensive fronts in the NFL.
