QB Shedeur Sanders believes he can turn around the culture of Tennessee Titans football, but doesn't care if they draft him
Sanders delivers confident message to the Titans.
INDIANAPOLIS – Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders delivered a compelling interview with the media at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Friday and perfectly laid out why he believes he is the best quarterback in the draft.
Sanders came across confident and charismatic. He was a really engaging interview while advocating for himself and his background.
One thing was abundantly clear – Sanders believes he can turn around the culture of Tennessee Titans football, but he's not worried about being the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

"I've been through six different OCs, so I'm able to adjust to any offense and every scheme and make it work," said Sanders. "We went from Jackson State to Colorado and changed two programs back-to-back, so you don't think I can come to an NFL franchise and change the program again? It's history, we done it again. It's always going to repeat itself."
Wherever Sanders ends up, he's confident that he will turn around the culture. He believes that his "mental" is his best trait that will help him do that. "Nothing can phase me. No pressure, no situation, these cameras…nothing phase me. I grew up with it."
If you're going at the top of the draft, you're probably landing with an organization that has a bad roster and trajectory. But a quarterback can change all of that.
But unlike some of the other top prospects in the draft, Sanders is not worried about where he gets picked. The expectation is that he'll be undervalued and underestimated as he has been his entire life.
"The number where you go don't matter. That's why I reference Tom Brady, because he was the best of the best in all categories and he didn't go first," said Sanders. "The number getting picked don't matter. I wasn't the top rated quarterback coming out of high school because there's a lot of exterior things that's people like and don't like about me. And I'm realistic…"
The Titans could very well decide that Sanders and Cam Ward are not the guy for them. That's their prerogative. But if you pass on Sanders and he ends up turning around another team that took a chance on him, don't say he didn't warn you.
