Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks was carted off of the field on Thursday night following a hard fall against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
Burks hit the ground hard and did not get up after attempting to catch a pass from rookie quarterback Will Levis with 2 minutes and 6 seconds left to go in the final quarter.
Head coach Mike Vrabel gave an optimistic update on the Burks after the game.
"Trey is alert, moving, and I'll have more of an update, hopefully tomorrow," Vrabel said. "The way it looked … he's alert and the training room will evaluate him."
Burks had offered positive reassurance on the stretcher as well, tossing a thumbs up as he was carted away.
He was later seen walking out of the locker room on his own and onto the team bus, via ESPN.
Levis and the Titans were not able to pull off a win in Pittsburgh, losing 20-16. . . but at least Burks is going to be okay after such a scary incident.
