NASHVILLE – Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley will take on his former team this weekend as the Jacksonville Jaguars come to Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

Ridley not only played for the Jags in 2023, he was actively pursued by Jacksonville in free agency. They made him a competitive offer, but Ridley preferred the Titans. He told the media in his introductory press conference that Tennessee felt like a place he could be himself and be treated "like a grown man."

Ridley has been looking forward to playing the Jaguars from the moment he signed his contract with the Titans. This one was circled on the calendar. Who doesn't love a good revenge game?

This Sunday, Ridley has a chance to make his former team look foolish and remind them why they should have treated him better.

The Jaguars are banged up on offense with Trevor Lawrence out and Mac Jones in at quarterback. Defensively, Jacksonville has the worst passing defense in the NFL, allowing 273.3 passing yards per game. That's promising for Ridley, especially given the way Will Levis has been playing.

Over the last four weeks, Levis is Top 10 in the NFL in passing yards (960), passing touchdowns (7), passer rating (101.4), and yards per attempt (8.3) all while being sacked 22 times, more than any other quarterback. '

Ridley has also been trending upwards after a slow start to the season., But as the Titans offense has found its footing, Ridley is starting to emerge as the legit WR1 Tennessee paid him tom be.

Over the last six contests, Ridley has 31 catches for 496 yards. That's 5.1 catches per game and 82.6 yards per game. That paces for 86 receptions and 1,404 receiving yards over the course of an entire season.

I'm expecting big things from Ridley on Sunday. I'll probably take all over his overs on player props for the weekend…who doesn't love a good revenge game? Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy posted 235 receiving yards against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, breaking the all-time record for single-game receiving yards by a player facing off with their former team. But record were meant to be broken (I'm kidding…or am I?).
