Early betting odds predict Cam Ward's stats for his rookie 2025 season and think he will be one of the most reckless quarterbacks in the NFL
Vegas is not high on Titans QB Cam Ward.
NASHVILLE – With Cam Ward officially the quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, all we can do now is wait for the 2025 season to begin.
Titans will be eagerly awaiting Ward's NFL debut. His presence on the field will be a beacon of hope for a fanbase that really needs something to be excited about. The expectations are going to be high. But according to the early betting odds for the 2025 season, fans may want to lower their expectations or Ward's rookie campaign.,
BetOnline set over/under markers on Ward for passing yards (3200.5), passing touchdowns (19.5) and interceptions (12.5).
Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Bo Nix all went comfortably over 3,200 passing yards as rookies in 2024. They all threw 20+ touchdowns as well. Setting the numbers that low means Ward is being predicted to have a worse rookie season than all three of them.
Ward is also being projected to be one of the most reckless quarterbacks in the NFL with the over/under on interceptions being set at 12.5.
Only three quarterbacks in the league threw 13 or more INTs in 2024: Baker Mayfield, Kirk Cousins, and Geno Smith. Will Levis and Jameis Winston both threw 12, and that's right where Vegas is predicting Ward to land.
The closest comparison I could find for Ward's predicted stat line is what C.J. Stroud did for the Texans last season in a "down year." Stroud threw for 3,727 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Stroud was 25th in quarterback rating among qualified starters.
