NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Titans will take on the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday afternoon as quarterback Will Levis returns under center for Tennessee.
Levis has missed the last three contests with a shoulder injury, but after weeks of rest and preparation, his high-pressure return is right around the corner.
For Titans fans looking to get in on the action with BetMGM.com, there's one Will Levis bet with odds that are too good to pass up. I'm trusting Brian Callahan and Tennessee's offense to keep taking steps in the right direction and making it my pick of the week.
Levis is currently +155 on BetMGM.com to throw for 200+ passing yards. The Titans offense has shown improvement week over week and Mason Rudolph exceeded 200 passing yards in each of the last three games while Levis was out.
Granted, that was Mason Rudolph. Levis has only gone over 200 yards passing one time this season. But the Chargers defense has allowed opposing quarterbacks to go over 200 passing yards in six of their eight games this year.
That includes Gardner Minshew, Justin Fields, Bo Nix, Jameis Winston, and a combination of Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener. It has been more than just elite quarterbacks putting up respectable numbers against LA.
Perhaps I'm too optimistic given what we've seen from Levis this year. But I was encouraged by what Levis showed before he went down with his shoulder injury and the demonstrated signs of week-to-week improvement. Brian Callahan's offense seems to be finding it's identity.
At +155, I'm willing to take the chance and root for passing yards on Sunday afternoon.
