NASHVILLE — Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best wide receivers of his generation and is likely headed for Canton someday.

Hopkins was sixth amongst players in receiving yards during the 2010s despite not joining the league until 2013. Over the years, he has surpassed 1,000 yards in six different seasons (which he is also on pace to do in 2023) and is 11th on the all-time yards per game list (77.2).

The 31-year-old wide out is also closing in on another milestone that would put him with an elite group of NFL legends.

Only four wide receivers in NFL history have recorded at least 900 receptions, 12,000 receiving yards, and 75 touchdowns in their first 11 seasons. Those players are Marvin Harrison, Jerry Rice, Brandon Marshall, and Larry Fitzgerald.

With another nine catches, 111 receiving yards, and one touchdown at some point this season, DeAndre Hopkins would join that club.

Hopkins is also currently sitting at 30th on the NFL's all-time receiving leaderboard. He is 15 yards away from passing the legendary Michael Irvin.

The milestones are going to continue stacking up for Hopkins every week. At this point in his career, he makes history and builds his legacy every time he touches the football. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that Hopkins clearly has a lot left in the tank.

In games where the Titans offense has been competent and there has been adequate pass protection, Hopkins has been explosive. He is still on pace, even at age 31, to have over 1,100 receiving yards this season.
