NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Titans made a big move on Tuesday morning as owner Amy Adams Strunk decided to fire GM Ran Carthon after a 3-14 season. 

Titans head coach Brian Callahan will remain in his position coaching the team while President of Football Operations Chad Brinker now has control of the team's personnel decision and roster moves.

Minutes after the news came out that Carthon was being let go, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders reacted to the news online. Sanders is, of course, the father of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. 

Shedeur is one of the best prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft and with Tennessee holding the first pick while needing a quarterback, it's very possible he's on track to become a Titan. 

But what do we make of Sanders' online reaction? Is this a "wow look how dysfunctional the Titans are" wow? Or is this a "wow look at the moves the Titans are making. I support that" wow? I could honestly see the argument for both.

While much of the internet is concerned with how Deion Sanders might meddle in the future of Shedeur Sanders as the NFL Draft approaches, I'm not all that concerned about it. 

The Titans present Shedeur with the opportunity to be the 1st overall pick. That's an honor and contract that every player wats. They also have a young head coach with a good reputation working with QBs. Callahan spent a lot of time with Joe Burrow in Cincinnati, who is similar stylistically to Sanders.

By the time the draft rolls around, I expect the Titans to have even more weapons and prioritize repairing the right side of the offensive line. These are things that can put any quarterback in a position to succeed.

Why wouldn't Deion want Shedeur playing in Tennessee?
