Derrick Henry sends emotional message to Taylor Lewan and Ben Jones
Derrick Henry showed love for his former teammates.
The NFL off-season is always very difficult for coaches, players, and teams in general. That's the case for the Tennessee Titans right now.
They have said goodbye to many beloved veterans over the past couple of weeks. In particular, Taylor Lewan and Ben Jones were both released.
They were cornerstones one offense for the Titans for the past handful of seasons, and both were emotional leaders. Fans loved those two as well.
Derrick Henry had a message for the two former Titans offensive linemen.
Of course, Henry would not have had the same career he has had without those two. They were massive pieces for the OL unit when a lot of other players rotated in and out on that unit.
Henry is a special talent on his own, but their careers have gone hand-in-hand with Henry's. He's clearly thankful for them and hates to see them go.
For the Titans, they'll need to find unique ways to attempt to replace the veterans.
