Titans front office makes splash hire at Assistant General Manager to bolster GM Mike Borgonzi's staff with high-level NFL experience
The Titans have hired an Assistant GM with prior GM experience to their staff
The group in charge of the Tennessee Titans heading into 2025 looks a whole lot different than the group just a couple weeks ago.
Controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk fired GM Ran Carthon the week after the Titans finished their league-worst regular season, and the team introduced their new GM Mike Borgonzi this past Wednesday.
With the 1st overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft in his back pocket, and the all-star gamesalready underway, Borgonzi wasted no time in finding a right-hand man to hire ahead of this critical offseason. Bussin' With The Boys was first to report that the Titans were hiring Dave Ziegler to become the nest Assistant GM of the team.
Ziegler spent the 2024 season in the Saints front office as a Personnel Advisor. His NFL experience as an executive dates back to 2010 with stops in Denver as a Player Personnel Assistant and Scout, New England as Assistant Director of Pro Scouting, Director of Pro Personnel, and Director of Player Personnel, and Las Vegas as the General Manager of the club from 2022-2023.
His brief stink in Vegas as the man in charge was lackluster, leading to his early firing. But Ziegler is respected around the league, and clearly Mike Borgonzi thinks highly enough of him to want him at his side in Tennessee.
