NASHVILLE – Former Tulane wide receiver Jha'Quan Jackson landed with the Tennessee Titans with the 182nd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Jackson is also landing back on a roster with former college teammate Tyjae Spears. Jackson and Spears were college roommates for four years and developed a strong friendship during their time at Tulane.

When the Titans played the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium in 2023, Jackson was on the sidelines to support Spears and watch the walk through. When Jackson fighting to prove himself to NFL scouts at the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Spears was in attendance to support.

“I'm excited. We talk about it every time we get on the phone," said Jackson about playing alongside Spears again. "The draft is crazy, but I'm honored and grateful to wear a Titans uniform. I'm back with my dawg. Family reunited again.”

Spears also took some time to speak with Titans media on Saturday. "It's a dream come true," said the Titans' 22-year-old running back. "Y'all gotta understand all the work that we used to put in. To get reunited and hold each other accountable, that's what I'm most excited for."

While Jackson is undersized (5-9, 188 pounds), he is praised for his short area quickness and ability as a punt returner. He will bring some competition to the Titans at slot receiver and could have an immediate impact on special teams.

I'm interested in seeing how his speed is used in Brian Callahan's innovative offensive in 2024.
