The Tennessee Titans have 10 head coach candidates that they are considering, however, a new report has them heavily linked to two of them.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler appeared on 104-5 The Zone where he revealed that Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and Detroit Lion defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn are two names to watch as the Titans wrap up their candidate interviews.

"Two names I've heard that will be intriguing are Aaron Glenn and Bobby Slowik," Fowler said. "Slowki having an offense that would be easily transferable for Will Levis from what he did at Kentucky and the Titans' ownership has a base in Houston so they're seeing firsthand what the Texans' offense has been doing. And then the 49ers' connection with Slowik and GM Ran Carthon. So, those things make Slowik one to watch.

"And then Aaron Glenn, I think that's a by-product of the Titans looking for a culture builder. They want somebody who is going to be energetic and have a good, healthy culture to foster and work collaboratively with Carthon. So, that's where Glenn comes in."

While neither Slowik nor Glenn have prior head coaching experience, they're both well-equipped to take over the Titans.

Slowik followed DeMeco Ryans from San Francisco this offseason and the way that he's successfully developed rookie quarterback C.J.Stroud and turned the Texans' offense into true contenders has made him a highly-touted head coach prospect.

As for Glenn, a former NFL defensive back himself, he helped the Lions' defense improve to 19th in yards allowed, 23rd in points allowed, second against the run and 27th against the pass.

While those numbers might not say a lot, his infectious leadership style does and players across the league voted him as the best defensive coordinator in 2023

The other eight candidates that the Titans are considering include Bengals OC Brian Callahan, Ravens DC Mike Macdonald, Raiders interim HC Antonion Pierce, Giants OC Mike Kafka, Panthers OC Thomas Brown, Lions OC Ben Johnson, Eagles OC Brian Johnson and Cowboys DC Quinn.

Derrick Henry gives the cold, hard truth about the 2023-2024 Titans

The Tennessee Titans had a disappointing campaign this past season. Mike Vrabel is out, and the roster turnover is expected to be sizable with plenty of veterans seemingly on their way out. One of those players is star running back Derrick Henry. Even in a season when everything seemed to go wrong for the two-tone […]
