NASHVILLE — After the Tennessee Titans got a big win on Monday Night Football in Miami, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel got carried away previewing his team's next game.
Vrabel mentioned that while the Titans wore the Oilers throwback uniforms on the field, he may be wearing a cowboy hat to honor the late Bum Phillips on the sideline.
Vrabel followed through on his word on Sunday morning, pulling up to Nissan Stadium in style.
Vrabel wasn't alone in his cowboy style either. Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons won't be playing in Sunday's game due to a knee injury, but that didn't stop him from making his presence felt.
Simmons showed up in a cowboy hat of his own on Sunday morning. "I can't let Vrabel out do me," he joked as he walked inside.
Vibes at Nissan Stadium before the game could not be higher. A good sign for the Titans, who need a win against the division rival Houston Texans on Sunday.
