Titans NFL Combine rumors heat up surrounding RB Jeremiyah Love, wide receiver connections in the draft and free agency
Three players we are hearing connected to the Titans at the Combine in Indianapolis this week.
The NFL Scouting Combine comes to a close this weekend, and with it, we conclude a weeklong nightly melting pot of offseason intel. The thick of draft rumor season is upon us, and there are three players we’re hearing connected to the Titans this week in Indianapolis.
WR Wan’Dale Robinson’s future with the Giants is in question
We begin in free agency, where the wide receiver market is a big question mark. Most of the top names have a strong potential to return to their current team, but a player Titans fans have kept their eyes on anyways is Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson. The early read out of New York this offseason is that bringing him back would be a high priority, but it now seems like his departure may be coming up next month.
ESPN NFL Nation reporter Jordan Raanan was on Giants Nation with Bobby Skinner, and he had this to say about Robinson’s future:
“Wan’Dale Robinson, he’s not going to fit into this picture, right? That just doesn’t make sense. You want to become a run heavy team. You’re going to invest in offensive line and you’re gonna invest in, then maybe another running back. Like, a slot receiver for $15+ million dollars right around that mark, it doesn’t make a ton of sense. It looks like Wan’dale Robinson is going to end up elsewhere at this point.”
When Skinner raised the idea of Robinson ultimately landing with his old coach Brian Daboll in Tennessee, Raanan said “that’s kind of the buzz around here, by the way. That, you know, Wan’Dale Robinson, the market for him or Alec Pierce, if he becomes a free agent, that Tennessee Titan spot is the one that they fit into there.”
I continue to remain absolutely convinced that Pierce will not go anywhere and just sign back with the Colts. But Robinson exploring his market and landing back with the coach who maximized him makes a ton of sense for all parties.
RB Jeremiyah Love rumored to have big fans in the Titans’ building
One of the top prospects in this class is Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love, who is one of just three consensus blue chip players available. NBC’s Matthew Berry shared on social media that he heard a rumor linking the Titans to Love, saying “The rumor I heard last night? The Titans.. that the Tennessee Titans think Jeremiyah Love is the best player in the NFL Draft.”
Now Berry made it clear that he wasn’t reporting, but rather just sharing one rumor. It wouldn’t be surprising or unreasonable by any means for this to be true, however. He is a consensus top-3 player in this class, after all. But being the best player in the class doesn’t mean he is at the top of your draft board. Positional value comes into that equation. It’s often the case that the best ball players in a class don’t come off the board first because they play less premium positions.
After the trade for Jermaine Johnson, the Titans instantly strengthened their EDGE room, which was an important acquisition. While there is no reason that Tennessee shouldn’t still pursue one of the top defenders at the No. 4 overall selection, it could potentially strengthen their ability to take a less conventional option at the top of the draft, While running backs are consistently undervalued on the NFL level nowadays, former Notre Dame star Jeremiyah Love is a player widely considered one of the elite players in the 2026 class. His presence would offer the Titans some flexibility on offense, taking pressure off of quarterback Cam Ward. It wouldn’t be popular for everyone, but Love is absolutely someone that the Titans should consider.
WR KC Conception rumored to be on the Titans’ radar
There has been a lot of chatter about Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion this week already, and that buzz doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. According to multiple people around Indianapolis this week, there are a lot of rumors surfacing about high demand for the receiver. There is even some potential for teams to be aggressive to try and trade back into the end of the first round if he makes it that far. Teams at the top of the second round are the teams to watch to be aggressive. One team to keep a close eye on is the Tennessee Titans, who supposedly have a high opinion of the dynamic offensive weapon. If the Titans prioritize one of the top defenders with the No. 4 overall selection, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them make a move to add a big-time playmaker for quarterback Cam Ward soon after.
