NASHVILLE — Wednesday's practice from Saint Thomas Sports Park provided some very revealing injury updates on Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis and wide receiver Treylon Burks.

Levis missed practiced on Tuesday after having his left foot/ankle tended to during Sunday's game. Burks missed practice with a concussion and has not yet made strides toward clearing protocol.

While Levis returned to practice on Wednesday, Burks did not. That should tell you a lot about who is expected to play on Sunday vs. Carolina.

Levis was on the practice field and looking like himself on Wednesday. He did not appear to be hindered by a limp or any lower body injury. All signs point to him starting for the Titans this weekend, which is a big relief for Titans fans everywhere.

With the team at 3-7 on the season, watching Levis perform is one of the only reasons to turn on Titans games right now. Levis' offensive line has not done a very good job at protecting him thus far, which has put the rookie quarterback in harms way. Luckily, it's nothing too serious this time around he'll be able to suit up.

As for Burks, things are looking much more dire. With Burks unable to get on the practice field so far this week, he is likely to be ruled out for Sunday's game. It will be the second straight game that Burks has missed with his concussion symptoms, and there has been no indication that he is anywhere near returning.

In order to clear concussion protocol, players must participate in two full practices. That won't happen this week, and it wouldn't shock me if an IR stint was coming for Burks in the near future.
