NASHVILLE — Three more Tennessee Titans players have been shut down for the season after being placed on Injured Reserve.

Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (knee), linebacker Jack Gibbens (back), and linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring) were all placed on IR on Saturday. Per NFL rules, a player must miss at least four games before they are eligible to return.

With just three games remaining, that means that Simmons, Gibbens, and Gifford are all done for the season.

The trio joins notable Titans players Kristian Fulton, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Ryan Stonehouse (among others) as players that won't return to the playing field this season.

In a corresponding series of transactions, linebacker JoJo Domann, offensive tackle John Ojukwu, and offensive lineman Andrew Rupcich have all been signed to the active 53-man roster.

Defensive back Shyheim Carter and cornerback Tay Gowan have both been elevated from the practice squad as well. They are expected to help Tennessee in the secondary against the Seattle Seahawks with the injuries stacking up.
