Texans' Joe Mixon has inserted himself into the same company as Arian Foster after breaking records and cracking all-time lists

The Houston Texans made the right decision to trade for Joe Mixon this offseason. A lot of fans were upset at the time because, well, they wanted Saquon Barkley, who was with the New York Giants and now with the Philadelphia Eagles doing some pretty crazy things. And, that's fine, he is a very good player, maybe even better than Mixon.
But, trading for Mixon with the Cincinnati Bengals was a great decision by general manager Nick Caserio. And, I don't think that can be said enough times. He has already become the next Indianapolis Colts killer, much like former running back Arian Foster was. And now he is putting his name into several conversations and stats with Foster as well.
He had a huge game against the Dallas Cowboys, especially in the first half. Here are some of the things the Texans PR team tweeted out regarding what Mixon did on Monday Night Football:
RB Joe Mixon has now recorded a rushing touchdown in six consecutive games, tying Arian Foster and Domanick Williams for the longest streak in franchise history. Through the last six games, RB Joe Mixon has recorded eight rushing touchdowns, tied with Arian Foster for the most in franchise history through a six-game span.
Arian Foster may be the best running back to ever wear a Texans uniform, depending on who you ask. So, for Mixon to already be in the same conversations as him, in just his first year with the team, is certainly saying something. Foster has the most rush yards in franchise history, three thousand more than the second-place guy in Domanick Williams.
When the offense is going through Mixon, that's when they are at their best. They simply aren't built to throw the ball a ton every game with their offensive line. When they run the ball well, good things happen. And, that's because Mixon has consistently made something out of nothing.
He is on another level right now.
The Texans will now go on to face the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars before playing the Miami Dolphins.
