The New Orleans Saints (3-3) will face the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) on Thursday Night Football in Week 7.

The Jags are fresh off of a divisional victory, while the Saints suffered a rough loss in Week 6. According to multiple sources, the Jaguars could be without their star quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, for the matchup, though.

Lawrence is dealing with a knee sprain. His status is still uncertain for Thursday's game against the Saints.

If Lawrence cannot play, it is a major blow to the Jags offense. Lawrence is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Backup QB C.J. Beathard does not provide the same type of threats to a defense.

The Jaguars starter participated in many individual drills on Tuesday at practice. He wore a brace on his left knee during the drills.

It remains to be seen how much Lawrence will practice before Thursday's matchup with New Orleans.

The Saints need to bounce back with a win to get to 4-3 on the season in Week 7 against the Jaguars. Lawrence's status is a massive one for the Saints.
