Everyone was watching as Taylor Swift returned to London this past weekend for her Eras Tour show.
This had a little bit of a different feeling than some of her past shows. And that's because of the memories London held.
Prior to her relationship with Travis Kelce, Swift was in a relationship with English actor Joe Alwyn for six years. However, the two called it quits in April 2023.
Her album Lover is said to be about her relationship with Alwyn, but Swift released The Tortured Poets Department, which included some songs dedicated to Kelce, but also addressed her split from Alwyn.
There was one mashup that fans speculated Swift could play during her acoustic set, but she didn't do that. Instead she gave fans a bigger surprise.
And one Swiftie released a video that has now gone viral, speculating why she chose the London show for Kelce to make his on-stage debut.
"I love that everyone was thinking, 'Taylor Swift should play London Boy into So Long London to make a point. And Taylor Swift said, 'No, y'all are thinking too small. Y'all don't have the creative vision. She really said, 'not only am I going to sell out more dates in Wembley Stadium than any other international artist ever. Not only is the royal family going to come to my performance, not only is one of the Beatles going to come watch me perform. That's not enough. I'm actually going to pull out my 6'5" American hunk of a boyfriend in front of 90,000 people. And you know that part in the show where my heart is broken and I collapse on stage, he's actually going to physically lift and carry me over to the bed. And you know what? We're actually going to give him red bottoms and a custom matching outfit so people know that this was in the works for a long time. And then just to rub salt in the wound, I'm going to hard-launch on Instagram in a way that I have not done in literally years, and it's going to be with the royal family.'"
"Talk about a victory lap. So Long London should have been titled, 'I'm actually taking London.' This alongside a roster of absolutely diabolical surprise songs has made the first three nights in London completely unforgettable. And I'm terrified for what Taylor has in store the remaining five nights in Wembley Stadium," the fan said.

Who knows if this was actually Taylor Swift's intention, but the singer always does have something up her sleeve. And if this really was the case, then she is hands-down the best Mastermind.
Jason and Travis Kelce on meeting the royal family
Along with getting to see the singer perform on one of the biggest stages, the Kelce brothers also got to meet the royal family, who attended Swift's Night 1 show at Wembley Stadium.
“We met royalty guys. There was royalty at the show," Travis said on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast. "I was fortunate enough that I didn’t get caught up in traffic long enough to where I got there early and got to meet Prince William. How about that? Your Royal Highness.”
And he had the perfect response to meeting Prince William: “Dude, he was the coolest motherf***er.”
Jason agreed.
“He was awesome,” the older Kelce brother said. “He’s a good dude.”
However, since they were meeting royalty, they didn't even know how to address them.
“I didn’t realize this because obviously we’re backstage meeting him because he was there with little George and Charlotte, and they were an absolute delight to meet," Travis explained. "Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them or curtsy or just be an American idiot and shake their hands. ‘Sup Dude.’"
But it turns out the brothers were given a quick lesson on what to do.
“Honestly we did get warning because we don’t know the actual,” Jason said and Travis then finished the sentence.
“We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the pond,” the Chiefs tight end added.
And Jason finished up the full explanation of everything.
“But they said that because we weren’t at an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy. If it would have been an official meeting of royalty event, then it would have been that," he said. "But I did still address him as ‘Your Highness.’ And I’ve never felt emasculated, and I did. That’s the closest I’ve ever been."
For Travis, it was fun to see his brother so starstruck.
“I’ve never seen you give someone that much respect," he stated. " You put your beer ten feet away from us.”
And for Jason, his favorite part wasn't meeting Prince William. He had a different favorite royal.
“I got to say, Prince William was fantastic. But the highlight was Princess Charlotte," Jason said. "Prince George was great too. She was so f***ing adorable. Like I cannot express how… Maybe it’s because I have three girls. She had fire to her; she was asking questions. That was the most electric part.”
