Adam Peters and co. have dipped into just about every single scenario possible. From big-time trades to paying tens of millions out in guaranteed money to mid-tier/depth signings, the only thing the team hasn't done is sign a big-name free agent from the outside (though they did trade for one in Laremy Tunsil).
Regardless, keep up with all the moves, right here, as things continue to move along!

- DE Clelin Ferrell – The Commanders have stocked up on defensive end depth, with Ferrell returning for Round 2 in 2024. Contract details haven't been revealed yet.

- RB Chris Rodriguez – The tender amount for ERFAs equates to the NFL's minimum salary for third-year players, which is $1.03 million.
Acquired/signed players:
- WR Deebo Samuel (trade) – The Commanders will pay Samuel $16,600,529 in cash this year. They traded a 2025 fifth-round pick in order to acquire the former Pro Bowler.

Released players:
- DL Jonathan Allen – Allen's release created nearly $17 million in cap room, which essentially offsets Samuel's salary.
After the latest updates, the Commanders have $18,681,264 in effective cap space, which is the amount of remaining space after factoring in the projected cost of the 2025 draft class. All contract numbers are per Over The Cap, unless noted otherwise.
