Everyone figured the Washington Commanders would be busy in free agency and sure enough, they've made plenty of moves, thus far.

Adam Peters and co. wasted no time in getting back to the grindstone on Tuesday morning. Per NFL Network's and former NFL player, Jason McCourty, the Commanders have agreed to terms with veteran kicker Brandon McManus. It's a one-year deal worth $3.6 million. McCourty broke the news on Tuesday's episode of Good Morning Football.

McManus was the kicker for the Denver Broncos from 2014-2022. He made 81.4% of field goal attempts and 96.6% of PATs during that span. Things were pretty much par for course in Jacksonville last year, where he made 81.1% of field goal attempts and 100% of PATs.

This means the official end for Joey Slye, who was the Commanders' kicker for the last two seasons and for about a half season in 2021. He made 84.4% of field goal attempts in Washington, however, that was anchored by him making his first 16 attempts. Since then, he's made 80.0% of field goals, including a 2023 season that saw him hit on 79.4% of attempts.
