The Washington Commanders have reported to training camp to start their pursuit to the Super Bowl and things are already off to a hot start in Ashburn, Virginia.

We don't want to overreact to the very first practice of training camp, but it's hard not to when Jayden Daniels is already dropping bombs to a major addition this offseason.

If you thought the offense was clicking last season, just wait until you see what Deebo Samuel brings to the Commanders with Daniels at the helm. He's showing up to training camp in great shape and ready to work and the results are already being seen on the field with his new QB.

Revitalized Deebo Samuel is ready to produce for Commanders

Commanders HC Dan Quinn said that Deebo Samuel has been a "joy" on and off the field since he joined the team and I think Jayden Daniels would agree. Daniels' very first throw of training camp went to Samuel for an over-the-shoulder touchdown. Talk about a way to kick off training camp.

A slot fade shows the versatility of what Samuel can do on the offense with his different alignments on the outside and in the slot. Daniels was a slot fade demon in his final Heisman-winning season at LSU and Samuel can be the perfect guy to utilize that more this season in Washington.

Terry McLaurin being absent from practice gives more reps and opportunities to Samuel and Daniels to build off of the work they've put in this offseason.

Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury has been missing a true second option to compliment McLaurin on offense, and now he has Samuel to become a multi-use weapon in Washington.

Expect more highlights this season from Deebo and Jayden

Many people have written off Samuel as an effective WR in the NFL, but he's not done yet and he's ready to prove everyone wrong this season. He's joining Washington betting on himself in a prove it type of season with the hopes of a new contract after the season if things go well.

Daniels and Samuel have been building a report this offseason and it starts in the early phases of practice and builds up leading up to the season.

The second year quarterback went into detail after practice about how he has already built a connection with Samuel so far since the WR arrived in Washington.

"It starts off the field and then get to know how he works and the player he is." Daniels told the media after practice Wednesday

We can see Samuel take snaps out of the backfield to improve the run game, but his impact in the receiving game as a top weapon for Daniels was seen in just the first play of training camp this offseason.
