We are less than a week away from the NFL's 2025 schedule release and the Washington Commanders are in the middle of a rumor that will take the team across the world if it turns out to be true.
Per well-known schedule-leaker @OzzyNFL on X, the Commanders are slated to play the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, Spain in Week 11. Kickoff would be on November 16 and both teams would be the first NFL teams to play a game in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The NFL will release the official schedule for each one of its 32 teams on Wednesday, May 14. However, the league has said it'll release the entire international slate on Tuesday, May 12. NFL Network's Emmy-award winning show, Good Morning Football, will announce the overseas schedule, so we won't have to wait until May 14 to find out if Jayden Daniels and Co. will take on Tua Tagovailoa and crew across the pond.
The Commanders and Dolphins have played each other 16 times heading into the 2025 season, with Miami leading the series, 10-6. The teams have played each other five times since 2007 and Washington has won two of those contests – the most recent coming in the form of a 17-16 win back in 2019.
