How to watch the Washington Commanders take on the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC rematch on the road
The anticipated rematch between the Commanders and Falcons.
Every single NFC matchup matters, and last season, the game came down to the wire with major playoff implications. The Washington Commanders ended the thriller in overtime after the Atlanta Falcons missed a field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter, and punched their ticket to a historic playoff run.
The Commanders are off to a 2-1 start after bouncing back against the Las Vegas Raiders with Marcus Mariota at the helm. Meanwhile, the Falcons are coming off an ugly loss against their division rivals, the Carolina Panthers. Michael Penix Jr. was pulled late in the game after he threw two interceptions, and the Falcons were shut out 30-0.
Now, Dan Quinn travels back to Atlanta and tries to keep the momentum going against his former team, as we still wait to see who starts at quarterback for the Commanders. Jayden Daniels isn’t the only injury concern as the list is piling up for the Commanders, including All-Pro wide receiver Terry McLaurin. Injuries are part of the game, though, and both teams need this win for different reasons.
