The 2024 presidential election is officially here, so we decided to have some fun and come up with campaign slogans for Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, and rookie Jayden Daniels.

All three guys are in the elite category when discussing their place in the league and all three have done amazing things throughout their respective careers. Even Daniels, who has played in a grand total of nine games up to this point.

So, without further ado, let's dive in and have some fun ahead of the nation's 60th presidential election.

QB Patrick Mahomes: "Stick with the proven winner who always gets things done"

I mean, what is a presidential campaign without the best player in the league and one of the best players of all-time?

Mahomes is the definition of a "winner" in the NFL. He has three Super Bowl rings, two league MVPs, three Super Bowl MVPs, and his team is currently 8-0 after the overtime win against the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. The Chiefs are coming off back-to-back championships and are looking to be the first team to ever "three-peat".

Per Pro Football Reference's Stathead, the former first-round pick has an insanely elite 78.6% winning percentage since he became a full time starter in 2018 and his 81 wins are 11 more than second-place Josh Allen. Now, we all know QB wins aren't the most telling stat in the world, but one would be hard pressed to sit here and say the Chiefs have won most of those games in spite of Mahomes. He's been the catalyst behind their success and it's almost impossible to prove otherwise.

Mahomes also leads the league in passing yards (30,082) and passing touchdowns (230). He's second in success rate (52.1%) among quarterbacks with at least 856 pass attempts – future first-ballot Hall of Famer Drew Brees is the only QB to have a better mark among qualifying players (55.5%).

When discussing the above stats, it's pretty wild to see the gap between Mahomes and the second-place QB, like the aforementioned Allen comparison. Jared Goff has the second-most passing yards since 2018 at 27,376. He has 188 fewer pass attempts than Mahomes and he averages 7.5 yards per attempt. When multiplying the pass attempts by the YPA, Goff still comes up 1,206 yards shy of Mahomes' mark. Mahomes also has 42 more touchdown passes than second-place Kirk Cousins (188), but maintains a higher touchdown rate than Cousins at 6.0% to 5.6%. So, even if Cousins matched Mahomes in attempts, he'd still have less passing TDs.

As long as Mahomes is on the field, the Chiefs have an excellent chance to win their respective matchup. And they manage to do just that at an elite rate thanks to his play.

What else is there to say? It all speaks for itself, which makes this slogan a *chef's kiss* for one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

WR Justin Jefferson: "Anything's possible when JJ is in the mix"

If you haven't kept up with Jefferson's career, you should immediately close out this article and look up his highlights. It won't take long to understand why anything is truly possible when he's on the field.

Jefferson's numbers are not only elite since coming into the league in 2020, but he's made several catches that have already gone down as some of the best in NFL history. The first that comes to mind is his 4th-and-18 catch against the Buffalo Bills back in Week 10 of the 2022 season. With the game on the line and the Minnesota Vikings needing a miracle, Jefferson came up with a play that almost no other receiver can make.

He followed that catch up with another spectacular one in 2023. Down six points with 90 seconds left against the Lions, the Vikings faced what seemed to be an insurmountable 3rd and 27 from deep in their own territory.

But, hey there was no problem converting that, as JJ went up and plucked the ball out of the air, despite two Lions defenders hitting him, and managed to bring it in as he fell to the ground.

The most underrated aspect of that play, however, was Jefferson's hustle on the previous play. Nick Mullens was strip-sacked, but the Lions couldn't recover the ball because Jefferson worked his ass off to ensure they couldn't. He even mentioned how he thought that play was bigger than the catch after the game and he's right. If the Lions recover the ball, he doesn't make the play and the Vikings have zero chance of mounting a comeback.

He's at it again in 2024, as well. He already has an insanely awesome 97-yard touchdown catch and he even completed a 22-yard pass on 3rd and 17 against the Colts on Sunday Night Football in Week 9.

At some point, I wouldn't be surprised if he plays cornerback and gets a pick-six. Or makes a 60-yard field goal. Or takes a jet sweep 50-yards to the house. Hell, he may even call a play that results in a touchdown, one day.

The dude is as good as they come and anything is possible when he's on the field. That kind of optimism and hope are A+ factors when it comes to campaigning.

QB Jayden Daniels: "The new blood that is shaking things up and taking the NFL by storm"

There's always someone in the mix who wants to shake things up and Daniels is doing just that in what has been a sensational rookie season through nine games.

He's led the Commanders to a 7-2 record after Vegas projected Washington to win 6.5 games in 2024. Daniels and co. currently sit atop the NFC East and they're the NFC's No. 2 seed. The Commanders aren't just scratching and clawing every week, either. They're beating up on bad teams and their two losses came in the form of a seven-point loss to the Super Bowl contending Baltimore Ravens and a 17-point loss to a Bucs team that was almost at full health back in Week 1.

Daniels is already doing things no rookie QB has done and he's even accomplished things no veteran QB has. Even though he was the second overall pick and many expected him to have a good NFL career, most didn't expect him to take off this quickly and take the league by storm the way he has.

Fresh blood can be reinvigorating, especially when it provides a very optimistic outlook for the future. That's Daniels in a nutshell.
