The playoffs seems like a distant possibility for the New Orleans Saints this season. They really are not since they play in the NFC South, but it is tough to see them clinching a spot in the postseason.

If they don't, eyes will immediately turn to the 2024 NFL Draft.

As of right now, where would the Saints pick in the first round?

According to Tankathon, New Orleans would own the 12th overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft after their loss in Week 12.

The Saints are not quite in the top ten, but it may be on the table by the time April comes around. It will all depend on how New Orleans finishes over the next month of the regular season.

Funny enough – the Las Vegas Raiders, Derek Carr's former team, pick just one pick ahead of the Saints right now. Other teams around New Orleans are the Green Bay Packers (13), Los Angeles Rams (14), and the Tennessee Titans (10).

The Saints have played two of those teams, and they play the Rams later this season. Keep an eye on their draft spot as the season winds down.

New Orleans also owns the Denver Broncos' second-round selection. It's projected at #49 right now. The 47th overall pick would belong to the Saints, but they traded it to the Philadelphia Eagles.
