Will he or won't he?

The question of Bill Belichick's status for the next season is the biggest storyline in New England at the moment, and the Patriots head coach fielded numerous questions about it when doing his weekly appearance on WEEI's The Greg Hill Show.

However, one question was posed that many have been thinking, but haven't had a chance to ask him quite yet.

Would Belichick be okay if the organization brought in a general manager next season?

“I appreciate the question, but looking at the Jets. Just trying to get ready to go on them. And it's been a long time since we've played on here," he said. "When it comes to that, there's a lot of hypotheticals. I'm really focused on what's going on right now.”

Other questions were asked during his appearance, but the head coach did one of the things he is known best for: He dodged each and every one.

"Whatever success I have had, I've tried to go about my job the same way every week — win, lose, good years, bad years, whatever they are," Belichick said. "Each week, get ready to go for that week, do the best you can to help your team win, and after that game move on to the next one. And at the end of the season, that's the end of the season.

"But on a week-to-week basis, I don't want to spend time, or get caught up in what happened 5 years ago, or what's going to happen 2 years from now, and a bunch of other random stuff. Just working on the Jets," he added. "I'm committed to the team that I'm coaching right now, the players that are here. They deserve my best every day and that's what I'm going to give them."

Despite six Super Bowl championships, the Patriots struggles this season have led to many different reports about whether or not Robert Kraft will go in another direction. Yet the conflicting reports seem to show that now decision has officially been made.

With only one game remaining, it's unknown at this time if this is the last time he will be on the Patriots sideline.

But he clearly isn't focused on that at the moment.

However, his answer about where he would put this information out is sure to make everybody laugh.

"You know if I was going to do anything I'd put it out there on Twitter and MyFace so everybody could see it. If I don't do that then I'll just keep it private."
