Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman continues to look like the smartest man in football after another phenomenal performance from A.J. Brown.

The Eagles (12-1) routed its NFC East rival New York Giants (7-5-1) on Sunday by the score of 48-22. In the win, Brown hauled in four catches for 70 yards, including this 33-yard touchdown grab.

The score marked Brown’s 10th touchdown of the season, which is something the Eagles haven’t seen out of a receiver in quite some time. In fact, the last Eagles pass-catcher to post 10 touchdowns in a single season was Jeremy Maclin in 2014.

With four games remaining, Brown has franchise history in his sights. Terrell Owens (2004) holds the Eagles’ record with 14 touchdowns in a single season.

Philadelphia has matchups with Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, and the New York Giants to close out the season. Brown should have plenty of opportunities to find pay dirt over the final month of the 2022 season.

Philadelphia not only boasts the best record in football, but they’ve reaped the benefits of one of the most impactful trades in team history. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans, who foolishly dealt Brown during April’s draft, just fire their general manager on Wednesday.

My, how the tides have turned.
