Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is giving fans a reason to smile following the Birds' devastating 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.
Graham, 35, told reporters after the game that he hopes to return to Philly for a 15th season.
"I want to," Graham said. "Whatever it be. It'll be my farewell tour next year. You know, I'm saying if the Eagles want me to do it one more time, I would love to be here because I know we have something special."
Graham, who has been on a snap count all year, saw action in every game and registered three sacks and six QB hits.
Other than proving that he has plenty left in the tank, Graham also brings an infectious personality and quality leadership to the locker room, which is needed with such a relatively young defensive roster and will be needed when changes come.
Graham becomes a free agent this spring and the Eagles will need to make a decision.
Let's just hope it's the right one.
