The Philadelphia Eagles' passing game was in question for the first two weeks of the 2023 NFL season.

However, that is not the case anymore as quarterback Jalen Hurts has accumulated 899 passing yards over three straight outings this season.

In Sunday's 23-14 road win over the Los Angeles Rams, Hurts threw for 303 passing yards and a score, along with another 72 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Hurts involved tight end Dallas Goedert early, throwing the ball his way four times or 45 yards on the opening drive of the game.

Prior to Week 5, Goedert had been quiet, having only logged 13 catches for 88 yards on 19 targets.

Dallas finished Sunday against the Rams with 8 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown. It was the first game since Week 9 of the 2022 season that he had a 100-yard game.

Dallas led the Eagles' receiving corpse alongside wideout A.J. Brown, who had 127 yards on six catches.

Brown has now logged three straight games with 120-plus receiving yards and he is the first to do so in franchise history since Mike Quick back in 1983, according to NBC Sports' Dave Zangaro

It's also the first time that the Eagles had two receivers combine for 200-plus yards since early December of last year when Brown and DeVonta Smith pulled it off together.

The Eagles were not as dominant on the ground with Hurts and D'Andre Swift combining for just 142 rushing yards. But that didn't matter with Goedert and Brown carrying the team to victory.

“That’s the thing about Jalen, If you’ve got the hot hand, he’s going to feed you," Brown said after the game

Next up for the undefeated Eagles is another road match against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
