Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been dealing with a lingering left knee injury for over four weeks now.

How serious or unserious that injury is remains unknown and it's going to stay that way because Hurts is officially done answering questions about how his knee is doing.

Hurts ended Wednesday's press conference on his own after a report asked how his knee was doing.

“I gotta ask, anything new with the knee,” the reporter asked. “Feeling better? Feeling worse? Different? Anything?”

Hurts just shook his head, tapped on the table, and then got up to leave.

“Alright, that’s what I thought,” the reporter said as Hurts walked out. “Thanks. It was worth a shot.”

Hurts' injury became noticeable in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins. He had a noticeable limp when he would run and even slipped into a knee brace after the half.

Still, the Eagles won 31-17.

It wasn't as noticeable in Week 8 versus the Washington Commanders, however, Hurts was hesitant to run the ball as he rushed for a low of seven yards.

And still, the Eagles won 38-31.

When he was asked for an update on his knee post-game, he didn't want to talk about it.

"I’m here,” Hurts said. “I told you guys I don’t really want to speak on it anymore. I’m out there.”

Eagles' head coach Nick Sirianni didn't have an update either, mainly because Hurts doesn't talk about it with him. He did, however, point out that his overall performances speak for themselves.

"I know he's tough, and I'm not going to always know because he's not going to tell me how he feels because he always wants it on him," Sirianni said following Sunday's win. "That's what you want from your quarterback, your leader and he played outstanding — completely outstanding. What you see is how good he’s playing in the pocket when he’s not playing the best that he can feel.”

The 7-1 Eagles face a tough task against the 5-2 Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.  They'll have a break in Week 10, but their schedule doesn't get any easier down the stretch, which will call for a healthy Jalen Hurts under center if they plan on seeing a post-season. Let's hope that's the case.
