Wide receiver A.J. Brown missed his second-straight practice as the Philadelphia Eagles prepare to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. 

Brown, who is dealing with a knee injury he sustained in Week 18, wasn't the only key player absent from Friday's. Starting safety Reed Blankenship also remained sidelined with a groin injury.

Injury Report Observations

  • Hurts made all of the throws to kick off practice, though head coach Nick Sirianni did not have him do ball security drills. Here is Jalen Hurts throwing:

  • Smith continues to trend in the right direction. 
  • Slay returned to practice again this week after missing Week 18's loss and is expected to make his return to the lineup just in time for the Eagles' playoff run.
  • Blankenship didn't practice but worked out on the side, per NBC Sports Dave Zangaro, who also adds that cornerback Avonte Maddox took reps at safety.
