The Philadelphia Eagles are not done making moves in NFL free agency.
On Tuesday, the Eagles addressed their offensive line needs and agreed to terms with center/guard Matt Hennessy, according to Bo Wulf the PHLY Eagles podcast.
With Jason Kelce officially retired, Hennessy will provide some much-needed depth behind Cam Jurgens at center. He could also fill in for Landon Dickerson at left guard or potentially beat out Sua Opeta at right guard.
Hennessy was initially a third-round pick out of Temple by the Falcons in the 2020 NFL Draft.
He took over the starting job at center when Alex Mack retired in 2021. He was moved to left guard in 2022 but injured his knee, which also caused him to miss the entire 2023 season.
Since entering the league, Hennessy has appeared in 41 games with 22 starts so far.
He'll come to Philly on a one-year deal.
