The Philadelphia Eagles recently made headlines when they made somewhat of a blockbuster trade for defensive end Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears, who is a former All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler.
The 11-year veteran got to Philadelphia on Thursday and wasn't necessarily expected to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday until head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the media Friday morning.
"Yeah, we are working on getting him up to speed," Sirianni told the media on Friday. "He is a smart guy that has been in a lot of different systems. Our coaches are working hard, and we are hopeful that he is playing on Sunday."
The Eagles may not need Quinn, considering who they are playing and who they already have playing the position, but I'm sure they will take him.
Quinn will be able to play in this system Sunday and hopefully make some big plays. In my opinion, I don't think we see him as much in Week 8 as we will every week following the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In other words, I believe he will be limited in what he can do. After all, three days is not a whole lot of time to learn a playbook.
