The Super Bowl is coming up, which means two fan bases that usually don't play each other will get to interact and be fans in the biggest game of their lives. This time it's the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
These two fan bases don't really have anything against each other, as there isn't a ton of history there in terms of playing each other, but they do have other things in common.
They were both the two best teams in the league all year long. They both have been coached by Andy Reid. And they both agree on something just ahead of the Super Bowl, that I don't think you can dispute wouldn't be cool.
The week before the Super Bowl, both fan bases came together and decided to do something special. There is currently a petition out to have Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis (Chiefs) and Jason Kelce (Eagles), to do the coin toss during the Super Bowl. As of Friday, February 3, there are nearly 30 thousand signatures.
Both of her sons made it to the biggest game, at the same time. Both of her sons are national treasures in a way and are very beloved by their fan bases, and both are some of the best to ever do it at their positions.
I think it would be very good to see her do this with her double Kelce jersey on. And Travis said it best earlier this week, there is no way she can lose in this situation. I think both teams would agree it would be cool to see her do this.
