The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the best coaching staffs this season, and you can confidently say that because, well, they were the best team in the league for most of the season, and they were the most balanced team.

Head coach Nick Sirianni did a great job of keeping this staff together and building off of last season, and with that, someone will be rewarded for the work they put in this year.

Jonathan Gannon and Shane Steichen have been great coordinators, and both are guys it seems everyone wants as a head coach.

Betonline.ag has the odds for the Houston Texans head coach job, and Gannon sits at the top of it with Steichen at the third-highest odds. Gannon's odds are 3/2, and Steichen's are 5/1.

A report on Sunday by Jonathan Jones had Gannon as the front-runner to get the job, and as more and more information comes together, it is starting to seem like that could be the case.

Gannon, I'm not sure would be a good head coach, yet. I think he can eventually, but we have seen some of the issues he has had in the past when calling defensive plays.

Ask any Eagles fan about their opinion on Gannon and you will likely get the same answer. He didn't blitz enough last season and even times this season. I will happily be wrong, though.

In my opinion, I think Steichen would be a much better head coach. The way he has called the offense this year and helped make them one of the best in the league, with the second-highest points per game average, has shown he knows what he is doing.

But, maybe he isn't the right fit for Houston. Maybe his interview didn't go as well as Gannon's. Either way, there is a high chance one of these guys is the Texans' head coach next season, or even a head coach somewhere else.
