The Philadelphia Eagles franchise and MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts has missed the last two games after getting injured in Week 15. Since then, Gardner Minshew has started the last two games and has lost both.

Every week since the injury, the Eagles and head coach Nick Sirianni have played mind games with us about Hurts starting. They will start the week talking about him and how he heals fast, and then talk about how there is a big chance he plays, just for him not to play.

This week against the division rival New York Giants, it's much of the same. But, this game is for the NFC one-seed, so they kind of need him based on the way the team has played the last few games.

On Thursday A.J. Brown gave out some information about Hurts at practice that is quite surprising.

"It looked very sharp," Brown said when talking about the ball Hurts has been throwing at practice. "…He's still knocking rust off, but I think he'll be fine for Sunday."

Hold up, did Brown just declare Hurts ready for Sunday?

"Hey, I'm not the person to make those calls, but if I had to call it, I'd probably say yes," Brown then explained.

I think fans will love to hear that from Brown, as this team desperately needs Hurts at the moment, and it has never been more clear.
