The Philadelphia Eagles' passing game came back to life in their 25-11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
Jalen Hurts completed 23 of his 32 throws for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Hurts first found A.J. Brown early in the first quarter with three receptions for 48 yards.
But he really livened the passing game up when he found Olamide Zaccheaus for a 34-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
The Eagles already have the run game figured out but having a healthy balance of both sides of the offense is ideal.
Prior to Week 3's matchup, Hurts had thrown for a total of 325 yards over two outings (170 yards in Week 1 and 191 yards in Week 2), which raised some major concerns across the Eagles fanbase after watching him average 241.5 passing yards per game last season.
"We're not in a panic mode or anything like that,” Sirianni said ahead of Monday night's win. “Have the pass numbers been down? Yeah. Does the defense play into that? Of course it does. Fortunately for us — and not everybody has this luxury — but fortunately for us we're able to win on the ground and we are able to win in the air, and so you are able to balance off what the defense does."
The undefeated Eagles will face the 2-1 Washington Commanders in Week 4.
